IGDA Melbourne hosts talks from community members at the regular monthly meet-ups. If you’ve got something to show off or something you’d like to talk about, this is your opportunity to get it in front of the Melbourne game development scene.
Here’s some guidance on what we’re looking for from submitted talks:
15-20 minutes in length.
Talks that will benefit a game development audience, such as how you solved a particular problem in developing your own game.
Talks that will benefit students, such as advice from experienced game developers that help students get into the industry.
If this sounds good, please send an email to talk@igdamelbourne.au with the details of what you want to speak about and we’ll get in touch.
Please note: This program is not for talks that are aiming to sell something to game developers. If you’re looking to present a product or service for game developers that is commercial in nature, please reach out to hello@igdamelbourne.au instead as we can provide speaking slots through our sponsorship program.
